The Pell City Building Inspections and Permitting Department ensures public safety, health, and welfare by enforcing building codes and regulations with integrity, efficiency, and professionalism. Building Permit Fee Schedule and Applications

You may email your completed permit application along with all required documents (i.e., state certifications, building plans, site plans, civil plans, etc.) to the Planning & Zoning Department at inspections@pellcity.gov.

Fee Schedule

Residential: $5 per $1,000 plus a $10 issuance fee
Commercial: $6 per $1,000 plus a $10 issuance fee

Re-inspection Fees

1st Re-Inspection: $25
2nd Re-Inspection: $50
3rd Re-Inspection: $75

All failed inspections will result in re-inspection fees, which must be paid in full before scheduling a final inspection.
